This is Danny Boy's brother John B. I would like to thank all of you for the kind words for my brother, and friend Dan. He was an inspriation to us all, and taught me what courage is all about. We laid Dan to rest today, and it was a sad day in my life and many others I am sure. He was courageous up to the end! To see the many hearts that he had touched was humbling! He was surrounded by his faimly, and we are many ,when he finally went home. I will miss him , that laugh, that smile, and constant positive attitude!
I salute you Danny Boy, untill we see each other again. Lots of Love,
Your Brother and Friend, John B

Thank you for that post, I know it must have been hard, I have lost 2 close family members my Mum and Dad inside the last 12 months and nothing prepares you for the emptiness that they leave in your life, you expect to lose your parents at some point but nothing prepares you for it, BUT to lose a brother has to be beyond comprehension, and if that brother is Danny Boy well I really don't know how you will deal with it. From Danny's emails I know you are a close family and I do so hope you can take comfort from that.
Please if you can stay with us on the forum, as Danny Boys brother we welcome you and if we can will help support you through the next few hard months of your grief.
May your God walk with you.
Sunshine..love and hugs
Helen

hey John B,

Danny's faith was clear to me and I'm sure it contributed largely to his character. It probably uplifted many with less clear vision. I know it strengthened me. It will be a grand time when we are all together again.

till then, let's live life to the fullest! best wishes to you, Danny's familly and Oral Cancer folks as we live to each new day. Every one is a gift.

love to you John B,
larryb

John,

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us yet another glimpse into the glorious life and times of Daniel Bogan! I am sure many of you, his family and friends, had some great stories of your experiences together. I am sorry I could not make it up there but circumstances wouldn't allow it. Know, though, that we all were there in some fashion cheering and sharing in the joys of this wonderful man's life.

May your pain soon dwindle and may your heart be filled with the fondest memories and love of your brother.

Best Regards,

Ed

Thank you for letting us know. The tears are rolling down my face as I read this news.
I never met Danny boy but he was ALWAYS there if I ever needed him. He was a comfort when my little sister was sick and also when she went to heaven. Bless his heart.
I will be praying for his family as I have often prayed for Danny. GOD Bless you all.
Love Michelle

John

I can relate to your difficult week as July 18th was 3 months of my husband's passing.

Anybody who endures what Danny and Scott did are incredible people with such determination and courage.

Your brother was an amazing person who helped me so much during this process. Please know that he had the most amazing positive attitude and was willing to help no matter what.

He is missed and I find comfort in knowing that Scott and Danny are now together and no longer suffering.

My deepest condolences John to you and all your family.

Lily
