Cindee, thank you for sharing with us in what all is going on in your life. You have a big plate full to deal with! My 2 dearest friends are 8 yr. suvivors[to date] of breast cancer. So keep you spirits up about that challange. Someone in your family will need to stay on top of Blue Shield and watch each Explaination of Benefit to be ready to challange anything that doesn't look right to you. We have a Blue Cross policy and I asked to be assigned a "Case Management" nurse for John. She has visited us, seen John's condition and assured us that she would see to it that we get everything he needs. At this point, I believe her. Get all the help on board that you can and stay with us so we can help. Amy

Cindee,

My husband has just completed radiation and chemotherapy treatment 3 weeks ago. I am also a 9 year breast cancer survivor.

Let me say that you need to take care of yourself while recovering from your own BC treatment. Your strength will be needed to help your son through his.

This is a tough time for your son and family, my heart and prayers are with you.

I just wanted to welcome you and Micah.
You are at the start of a long and arduos road, you will have many questions and we shall try to give you all the answers you need.
When he gets home and you go to the docs with him , make sure you write down everything you are told... I recorded every visit and it was really helpful, also on your doctors visits. There us a lot of information to process and some of it will go over your head.

Let us help you through this.
Take Care
Marica
