Hi KathleenS,
Resonable Idk, but that is sometimes the wait depending on the facility, and availability of the doctor
I’ve waited about that time in certain cases, but other times, waited less. The less time you wait, the better it is for prognosos. I thought they were trying to keep treatment to commense within 30 days, I forget what society it was? Another factor, was the time from surgery to end if treatment to be around 100 days that mattered too, and in cases of a long wait, they could increase the radiation dosage, so the article said.
Can you call on Monday to see if they can move up your appointments?
Is it possible to get another opinion, prefably at a ccc? That’s what I did when waiting for an opinion at one of the top ccc, and found one of their former doctors, and it was the best choice I ever made! The more opinions the better, and sometimes i had 5, but a reasonably fast decision should be made.
I hope this helps, and Happy Mother’s Day!
