For the last 2 years I have slowly been losing the mucosal lining from the back of my tongue to the front. The radiation oncologist says he sees this all the time in his patients he has given radiation to. I have never had any radiation treatments. I have had no chemo therapy. My last ENT is baffled. I am waiting to see an oral surgeon.

Has anybody else experienced this? What was the cause? How did you treat it? Did it ever get repaired?

Your help is eagerly anticipated...
