Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 13 | Everyday before my RAD treatment begins, the two arms of the machine come out and scan my head. I am assuming they are watching for the amount of radiation building in my head and neck..? Does the RO alter the treatment times slightly according to the amount showing in the tissues? Unless I am losing my mind, the seconds for each dose/field vary daily. Anyone know why?

1/29/16 Tumor Board agrees 30 IMRT RAD
2/12/16 PET says no MET, but "bilateral tonsils reactive"
2/17/16 RAD treatment began
