Well i had my OR biopsy yesterday. Now it's waiting for results. Ugh..my MRI scans came out clear. But the ENT is worried that since I've had radiation twice and have scar tissue from the lymph node removal, that the MRI wouldn't pick up any abnormalities in my mouth floor. Talk about a downer. I feel great so it's hard to feel optimistic when the ENT is not feeling the same. Is it sad that I'm praying that if I have a recurrence that it won't be that bad and they can just cut out? i would prefer to not have a recurrence obviously. I feel relatively calm about this whole thing (in general) but then I have these "moments" and freak out.

sorry I'm just unloading... frown

I think it's normal for you to hope that firstly it's not cancer and secondly that if it is they can cut it out. I hope you don't have to wait long to find out. The waiting is so hard but we are all here to support you. Try to do things you enjoy!

Best wishes.
