Hi all,
I'm in such a dark place of worrying now before my biopsy surgery that I don't have anyone to come to. I'm sorry if my post takes away the time for those really in need.

a month ago, I noticed that whenever i eat sore/spicy/hot food or when i'm stressed out, there would be 2 small circular bubbles swell up right next to each other on my soft palate. I would feel discomfort when they swell up. the swelling go down after a few hours or with cold water. Then that area would look like normal. I went to 2 ENT, and 2 Oral Surgeon. They think it's blocked salivary gland, so tell me to wait for it to heal.

Now the sore/bubbles still intermittently go up. So the first ENT decided to remove that area and biopsy it this coming Monday. Yesterday evenning, I was munching on some sour fruits and spicy food for dinner. I ddin't check it but this morning, when i looked into my mouth, one of the sore look like it has old brown blood on top of it. I"m freak out because it mean it was bleeding or something. I can't move the surgery date sooner. So now i'm stuck in this panic mode for the next 3 days. Time cannot come any sooner frown Oral cancer sore bleed right?

thanks for reading

Hanh, welcome to OCF. This should help to ease your mind... Oral cancer tumors do not come and go. Hopefully whatever you have going on is nothing serious and can be easily fixed.

Best wishes.

Hi Christine,
thanks for your kind words. I'll try to survive the next week until I get my biopsy surgery and result back.

I am no expert but when I have had some little something appear in my mouth and it feels like a tender little sore...it has gone away on it's own. One time the doctor told me it was a swollen taste bud. I like spicy/hot food too. Maybe don't eat those foods for a bit. Good luck with your biopsy!! Try not to worry. It's hard to do, I know!
