Hello I have a question I was wondering if anyone ever heard of this cancer moving to the brain without any other tumors present. I am awaiting test results from a biopsy on my tongue and this would be my third time. But lately I can't bend over without pain in my head and was wondering if I should be worrying, thank, Michele

Michele, I don't think anything good comes from worrying. Squamous cell carcinoma can go anywhere blood or lymphatic fluid goes.

Michele, I am sending you good luck vibes. Waiting is one of the hardest parts and our minds can conjure up many negative scenarios. It's easier said than done but try to do things you enjoy while you are waiting. Food, movies, books, shopping .... Whatever will give you a lift. I've had oral cancer three times and each time it has stayed local. I know everyone's cancer is different but there's no point assuming anything until you have the results. Sometimes writing a journal can be a good way of getting the fear out of your head and onto the page.

I wish we didn't have to go through this awful "scanxiety". At least here at this site everyone understands how you feel.
Best wishes
Maureen

Hugs my dear... and as someone here said... it can go anywhere... but in all the time and things I've read about it - the brain I haven't heard of in terms of spread.

maybe you have sinus issues? or it could be stress related...

or possibly narrowing or your carotids? decreased blood flow caused by IMRT...

It could be a number of things.

take care and let us know what happens.
