I am 5 weeks post rad and have started breaking out all over the top of my head. I did get a pretty bad case of the Erbitux Rash but I am 2 months out from my last Erbitux treatment. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks!

I had Erbitux in Oct/Nov 20012, and the break out on my scalp was worse than the rash on my face. It took several months for them to resolve. Did they give you antibiotics for the facial rash? That should help the scalp too. I had minocycline at the time, but there may be different meds used now to counter the rash. I also used Head and Shoulders dandruff shampoo, as well as liquid soaps, maybe Dove, for sensitive skin, use cool water instead if you can, instead of hot, which is drying to the skin.

I hope this helps.

A rash that appears out of the blue should be checked by a physician. It could be an allergic reaction.
