It could be any number of things. If you still arent better, go back to the doctor. I suggest seeing an ENT. Find one that specializes in oral cancer. They are the most qualified to visually identify whats going on.
Stress can play a part in why you havent healed yet. Try your best to keep your mind off worrying. Constantly focusing on "what if" is not helpful at all. Do yourself a favor and stop googling symptoms. If you put in the right things even a 90 year old man can be diagnosed as being pregnant.
Good luck. An ENT is a doctor who treats Ear, Nose and Throat patients. I've asked this and you didn't answer but I really think you should be addressing the anxiety more than the sore throat and bumps. There are at least a million possibilities of what can go wrong with the body and even the stress of knowing can be extremely difficult to deal with. By constantly fearing what might be wrong, you aren't helping things. I don't know if this makes sense to you but freaking out and getting progressively more anxious about it is a sign you could use some help processing your fears.
In regards to throat infection, not treating an infection can be fatal. Even something that seems as simple as strep throat, when left untreated, can cause a lifetime of health problems that have no cure.

I am just concerned that you are so young and want to live your age yet your mind is constantly worrying. Many people live with the things you mention but most people want to know what they are dealing with instead of taking it beyond what you know.
Instead of hanging out here and seeing how bad it is, get out and be a 16 year old. Do all those things you say you want to. If things progress, keep seeing medical professionals. If it turns out bad, they will let you know.

A virus at 5 days might look the same as a fungus at 5 days. After 30 days the symptoms of the two conditions might be different, giving a clearer idea what it is and pointing the doctor to a new line of investigation or treatment. Again its only able to be diagnosed by a doctor, and none of us here are doctors. There is nothing to be gained by Googling symptoms, leave it to the doctors. We're in your corner, young man, hoping it resolves with one round of medicine.
