Try using a dab of bacitracin or antibiotic ointment around the peg site, cover with a couple of drain sponges (4" X 4" gauze pads with a slit cut half way to the center). In a few days it should clear up. When you have a feeding tube try to avoid lifting anything over 15-20 pounds as that can cause the granulation too.
