After 15 years being cancer free , i am now faced with a new problem, i did not have my teeth pulled and now i have lost many of them. The oral surgeon will not pull them without 30 treatments in a hyperbaric chamber but how do i get insurance to pay for it! Ron Clark Stage 1 Tonsil Dec. 1998

Ardy, welcome to OCF! Congrats on being 15 years cancer free!!!

The hyperbaric oxygen treatments (HBO) are covered by most insurances if it is coded correctly. Its medically necessary to do the Marx Protocol (20 dives prior and 10 after extractions). If your insurance company denies you coverage for HBO, appeal it until you can get them to cover the dives.
