I would like to wish everyone on this forum and at OCF a fruitful year. To those who are out of treatment, a continued road to better health and to those who are still in treatment, a smooth progression to the light at the end of the tunnel. To those who have done so much to support the cause, may your efforts be richly rewarded.
We are approaching the final week of treatment. It has not been easy, but I would not have been able to keep plugging away without the knowledge that I daily glean from your postings and the sense of camaraderie that I feel each time I come on to the site.

This week and a couple more post Tx and this nightmare turns into daylight called recovery . Hang in there, the both of you!

Age 58 at Dx, HPV 16+ SCC, T1N2bM0, Stage IV BOT and 2 nodes, non smoker, casual drinker and exercise nut, Cisplatin x 3 with concurrent IMRT x 35, (70 Gy), no surgery, no Peg, Tx at Moffitt over 8/28/06. June 2007, back to riding my bike 100 miles a week as if nothing happened.

Bob age 56, non smoker,non drinker, ended treatment on 11 Nov 2007 and started back to work on 29 Nov 2007. Veterans Day 2012 the Battle was lowered, folded, Taps was played and the Flag buried as I am know a 5 year survivor. Semper-FI !!!
