Hi everyone. Just want to keep you all informed on my treatment in Boston.
I was admitted to. Brighams woman's Hospital last Wednesday because my tumors were causing severe horrendous migraines and bad double vision. They released me yesterday and I'm staying in Fitchburg with my sister now.I'm am going to be getting some radiation to the brain area to stop the tumor and then they will continue with Chemo. I'm doing okay resting and eating as much as I can and just trying to see my family as much as I can. It sucks knowing that I wont be cured but I did put up a struggle anyway. The Drz treating me are wonderful and I'm happy with my decision to move back home. I will be sure to keep every one here updated.

Thanks for keeping us updated! I often wonder and worry when people drop off the radar for a little bit. I'm glad you are being treated well at Brigham, though I can't say that I'm surprised. Being from Boston myself, I am familiar with the many amazing hospitals and doctors in this area.

I am very happy to hear you are spending time with your family. Though sad to hear your treatment is not curative. You are a strong person and have a great attitude about the path you have traveled. I will be thinking of you, sending you and your family lots of peace and love, and wish you the very best.

I look forward to hearing how you get on over the next weeks and months. Are you staying in MA indefinitely?

Hi, Plantgirl
I hope that they are able to get the migraines stopped soon - they are truly miserable. I am glad that you are with your family and have their love and support, and that they have yours. I think of you when I groom my mare, and wish I could somehow share the pleasure of that simple act with you.

I went to the Radiation and Chemo center here in fitchburg yesterday where they will be doing all the procedures in conjuction with with working with Dana Farber and Brighaman and womens. I truly have a wonderful team this time who is absolutely dedicated to getting me back up on my feet at least for a while. The Cancer center down the street also has the Reiki massage which if anyone here has done they will attest too. Pure Heaven
