Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 8,311 | I just tried to place an order for Carnation Instant Bk VHC for a newbie thru Walgreens and they say it's been discontinued? I also checked the website and it says the same thing. Walgreens did say it's replacement is a Boost VHC which has the same 560 Cals. Anybody have more info on this?

Nestle Carnation VHC Breakfast drink has been replaced with BOOST VHC drink. I ordered mine at CVS and the price is about the same; however, the BOOST is a lttle smaller (8 FL oz compared to 8.45 FL oz for Carnation; and the calories are 530 for BOOST and 560 for Carnation. They both are supposed to contain the same ingredients and taste the same - both just come in vanilla. The BOOST comes in a "sippy" box, instead of a can. I haven't tried mine yet but was pleased that they did replace it instead of discontinue it as I was first told. I will check to see if it can be ordered through the OCF site - earlier I couldn't find a replacement. Hope this helps. I wish these companies would quit changing stuff on us, don't you?
