Contributing Member (25+ posts) Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 38 | Try taking pills with something slippery like warm milk, or warm water, which is best. Your throat relaxes with warmth, and position of head relative to throat to help pills slide rather than struggling to force them down will help. My epiglottis no longer closes properly, and throat/mouth damaged by rad/surgery so have had to find ways to not aspirate foods (all puree). Glad you are improving, I never will, so do it for me and the rest of us like me.
