Hi,kabbie
welcome to this forum. As a friend of mine who is a pediatric oncologist said, there are no stupid questions regarding cancer. There are a couple of ways to proceed - one is to get an emergency dental appointment, as what you are describing could be an abcessed tooth - make sure the dentist does oral cancer screenings. The other would be to see an ENT. Other may have other suggestions.
Best wishes and let us know how you are doing.

Any kind of mouth pain that stick around for more than two to three weeks should b looked at by either an oral surgeon or ENT. I had an actual sore on my tongue - but some peoe present with pain, and an enlarged lymph node. Both are possible signs of cancer. It could also be that you've a bit of lock jaw, please get it looked at!! Hugs and good luck!

You seem to have some sort of numbness from your previous post. I doubt it to be OC symptoms. However, it may be symptoms of Facial Nerve pain (also called Trigeminal Neuralgia). Consult a Dentist and/or ENT as Maria and Cheryl had suggested but do get screened for OC.

Doc may recommend H&N MRI if they do not get anything suspicious from physical exam.
