Gerri and Pearl, Yoga may be an answer to control pain.

Go through the following link: http://www.moffitt.org/CCJRoot/v12n3/PDF/165.pdf

When my father went through surgery and CCRT for the first time in 2009, yoga helped him to recover as he had been practising for past several years. For Jim, it may be difficult with all the pain, but it may help him get some relief.

Thank you all for the responses and ideas, I'm ready to do anything to help him. We did see pain specialist yesterday and he took him all the meds he was on except Gabipentin and started im on Methadone, Hydromorphone. Last night was rough but he's been sleeping all day, sometimes soundly other times jerking and seems to be dreaming vivid dreams. Since he can't talk it's so hard to know how he's feeling.
