He was taken to Pittsburgh by ambulance from Morgantown W Va the next day. He had to be revived when he got there. He was was full of gases in his blood vessels and his brain was full too. They put him in the Hybaric Oxygen Tube right away for 90 minutes and then 2 more times the day he arrived. Then they gave him Omega 3 , fish oil . The next day he was doing so well that he was transfered back to Morgantown. The Dr was saying that noone survives having so much carbon dioxide and gas in their system . friday is the anniversary of that mine explosion that killed the other 11 and Randy survived. HBO really works. Allegheny General is the Hospital I have had my last 2 Abdominal Anneurys surgeies at , the last one Nov 2nd 2010.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April. --- Passed away 5/14/14, will be greatly missed by everyone here
