I was wondering the same thing. A typo maybe??Maybe he has a radiation burn? Give him my best. Is there a CCC in your country where he can be seen?

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.

have no clue what lhs is. But the lesion on the tongue can be anything. Only way to know for sure is to get him in to a oral surgeon, ent, cancer doc. My first sign of cancer was a 4 cm lesion on the right side of my tongue. after treatment, i had another lesion that showed up on my tongue, but it turned out to be nothing, but it was very painful.

Get him into a doc asap!!
