If you've enjoyed any of Suzanne Vega's songs over the years, then you'll enjoy her new album 'Retrospective' and of course she puts on a great concert.

It's good to get your mind off of all this "stuff" if only for a little while.

I think you're right Jeffrey. It is good to take your mind away from the cares and worries this changed lifestyle brings to patients and caregivers alike. My husband prefers the oldies of the 60's and 70's, but especially enjoys watching science-fiction movies....it's one of the best "escapes" from reality, at least for us it is!

I like that Jeffery: THREAD ALERT THREAD ALERT laugh

Back to the thread, have you heard Nora Jones?
I believe the latest CD is "Come Away With Me"

Pretty neat someone as young as she is, has such a popular bluesy sound. I understand that she has a large following amongst the younger set. (perhaps we can finally get away from rapsters)

Yes, she is very popular. Is she touring now? On another note, I'm getting ready for Fleetwood Mac -- now that should be awesome!

Count me too Donnajean -- I'm a 60's kid. Also like Sci-FI movies. Does Mars Attacks count? Stupid humans! LOL.

And may I add....to quote the famous words of Mr. Spock....."Live long and Prosper"!! (A sentiment I concur with, and my wish for everyone here as well!). Ya gotta love Star Trek!
