Susan,

You are doing a super job getting all of these walks going. You're the greatest.

Hi Paula,

I am sorry you had trouble, it is a new site, so next time just click on awareness events and all of them should come up.

The date for Bartlesville is October 16th. It is being organized by OCF member Angelia. YOu can contact her at bartlesvilleocwalk@@yahoo.com. Drop her an email when you get a chance, she would love the support!!

Let me know if I can be of any more help!

THanks so much,

Susan

The events page has a really nice layout!!!! I love how it shows you all the events and can even break them into 3 catagories. Much better than the old page where only the walks were listed.

The events part of the site has been working fine for the week that it has been up, after beta testing it with several people before it went live. The walk you are referring to does appear there in the awareness walk section. Here is the direct link. http://www.oralcancer-screening.org/events/index.php?com=detail&eID=63

Some of the nice features of the pages are that sharing the page with others via an email or facebook or other mechanisms is a simple click to do. You can check the weather before the walk in one click, you can get directions to it and see a map of where it is. There are other features being added to the pages as Chester gets the software written in the next week or so.

Hi Susan,

I'd like more info about the walk in Pittsburg. I'll be finished my treatment 9/7 and don't know whether I'll be up for a walk or not. Where in Pittsburg is it? Any info on hotels close by?

Hi Susan,

That would be great if you can attend, walking or not. Having your support and representing the OCF adds so much to these events.

The walk is at Riverview Park. Not sure about hotels, but please contact Gaurav Shah, he is the organizer. Email him at [email protected]. I am sure he can help you with that.

As Brian metioned, please go to the OCF events site at the link Brian mentioned. YOu can find more information there.

If you need anything else, please let me know. I wish you all the best with the rest of your treatments!!

Susan
