Joined: May 2009 Posts: 1,412 | I have a meeting on Monday with the dental hygiene school here in Bartlesville. We are going to brainstorm ideas and where the walk will take place and the route. I am so excited about getting the word out about oral cancer. When I was talking to the director she agreed that not enough people know about this type of cancer. YEAH!!!

Joined: May 2009 Posts: 1,412 | Well, the date is set for October 16th. The place will probably be at a stadium or track. The dental hygiene clinic is going to try to get mobile dental van so we can do oral cancer screenings. I am so excited and they were excited that I called them.

Retired Dentist, 59 years old at diagnosis. SCC of the left lateral border of the tongue (Stage I). Partial glossectomy and 30 nodes removed, 4/6/05. Nodes all clear. No chemo no radiation 18 year survivor.
