It is so hard to post this, but this forum has been my sounding board for so many years.
I've watched it become more of a wonderful source of information than we could have imagined. Eight years have passed since I first found it, and believe me, I've put everybody through their paces. Always questioning,,,,always MAD.
Brian....you are a special soul.
Dennis was diagnosed with a pancreatic mass with multiple (12+) lesions to the liver this week.
We are hoping for the best, and love you all for being there. Like Dan Bogan said, "welcome, to the club nobody wanted to join"

So sorry to hear the most recent problems Dennis has, but it sure looks like he (and you) have been putting up a good fight against this Demon mad for quite a while, so just keep on doing the same and kill the dragon. We'll all be praying for positive results; keep us informed.

Best wishes for Dennis's fight. My Dad spent 4 weeks in hospital in January with this and has been having regular checks since. A recent CT showed problems so in a few weeks he will have an MRI. At the moment and for the last few months he has been feeling OK and we went out for lunch yesterday. Will just have to wait and see...Will Dennis be having surgery?

I am so sorry to hear that Dennis has to go through this again. Life just won't give hiom a break, will it?

What treatment options is he being offered and where is he going for treatment? How did they discover this cancer?

I am curious as I have a dr at HUP that has been watching my pancreas for several years since a minor lesion was picked up on a CT of the lungs by a radiologist. He keeps wanting to do a whipple procedure on me and I keep saying 'not until I have symptoms'. Are they suggesting a whipple for Dennis? Johns Hopkins was suggested to me for a second opinion if I wanted one.

Please keep us posted and tell Dennis we are thinking of him.

Take care,
Eileen
