Well today was another dr's visit for my sister. We called and was scene right away because my sister has developed a lump on her tongue right where the flap meets the tongue. Another set back!! So they said they think it might be a granuloma but thy are not sure so they did a biopsy. Words can not express how scared I am right now. I do not understand how cancer might have comeback 3 weeks post surgery with clear margins. IF this is how I feel I can not imagine how my sister feels. She went through this huge procedure, isn't even healed yet and now this!! This roller coaster of ups and downs is so difficult.
We also found out from the oncologist that was trying to ge a referel for radiation that her insurance expired today. What? She filled out her renewal in March and someone is sitting on it. Lost somewhere and we didn't even get a notice. This has been so difficult on my family. Both my family and my sister can not see the light at the tunnel with all that has been going on. I'm starting not to see it either.

I'm sorry to hear about everything you & your family are going through. This TX is bad enough without all these added issues. Don't you just wonder "why us?" It sometimes (in life) seems like we get bad luck & it just keeps getting worse. I can only hope that tomorrow will be a better day for all of you. I will keep you in my prayers.

BOT T3N2M0 No surgery, 38radiation treatments,4 chemo rounds, peg removed 11/08, still have a port. Treatments ended 6/20/08. So far, so Good ! "I know God won't give me anything I can't handle. I just wish He didn't trust me so much !"

Insurance problems - ugh. I hope the great biopsy results are just the beginning of good news for your sister.

Great news on the biopsy. Hopefully the insurance problems will get straightened out and your sister can just concentrate on getting better.
