He prescribed Metanx, a super B vitamin (naturally, not covered by my insurance). I'll start taking it next week. Has anyone here tried it? It supposedly has done very well in trials.

Not all vitamins are good for people who are cancer patients.

Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate: 25 mg The toxicity of vitamin B6 has been evaluated in several opinions. The principal toxicity of concern associated with excess intakes of vitamin B6 (as pyridoxine hydrochloride) is neuronal damage and sensory and motor effects. None of these effects have been specifically linked to the pyridoxal 5-phosphate form of the vitamin.
Methylcobalamin: 2 mg It is used in treating diseases of vitamin B12 deficiency (such as pernicious anemia), or diseases of effective B12 deficiency, such as vitamin B12 metabolic pathway pathologies.
