So far so good...got appointments bumped up to once annually this March & always heard the all clear. Went to my Dentist Wed & heard 'You should have this biopsied!!" Lesion on palette (between my two top teeth on roof of mouth)
It's a popular spot for burns, right? Could be nothing, right? Those darn Nachos!!Just looking for similar situations with a good outcome..
Anyone know if an ENT or H & N specialist is who does upper palette biopsies? (The dentist left it to me to call the cancer centre because I have a relationship with them already..put it off until Monday because of the holiday)

You are correct that it could be nothing at all. Only a biopsy will tell. I had my biopsy done by an oral surgeon. My first time of having oc, I had a spot up behind my top L molar. Best of luck to you, hoping for it to be nothing.

I too had a big scare last week. I went for what I thought might be my final adjustment on my dentures. Instead my dentist called in the other dentist and they both looked at my frenum and told me not to wear my dentures any more until I have my ENT look at my mouth. They didn't use the word biopsy, but they more or less told me to go back to my "cancer doctor" - this has me just sick. I will be calling tomorrow for an appt. Man, I hope like tiamaria that a nacho just cut my frenum. I was just getting where I could eat those.
