I've noticed everytime I get some nasal drainage from a cold it causes me to gag/cough alot more when trying to swallow food. Am I just weird?lol

I have to say that I think I do have a diminished swallowing ability. I first thought that it was a saliva issue, but I now think the swallowing muscles just don't do as much as they used to.
