So here I am in the midst of having gum surgery to fix the damage due to radiation and having a biopsy of my uterus. Well, now I notice the left side of my mouth is swollen. Remember, that the cancer was on the right side of my tongue. Should I be worried about the swelling? I have not had an procedures done yet. My gum surgery is Monday. It is not hard to the touch and there is no pain when I press on it. It feels like fluid build-up or something like that. I have been trying to not to think about it too much. Should I have my periodontist feel it and get his opinion or call my ENT back even though I was there just a week ago. All this in the midst of my husband not having a job after July 15th and the possibility of having to sell our home because we can not live on just my salary, assuming everything comes back normal.
