Live in Dallas, Texas area???

Come to the Dallas Oral Cancer Walk, Saturday, May 1st, at the Concord Baptist Church. Registration begins at 8:30 am, walk begins at 10:30 am.

Check the OCF events site for more info!!!

Having OCF members at these events is so special, help spread the word!!

Survivor. 55yr male. Dx 07/09 SqCCa Stage IV, Rt Tonsil, Lt&Rt Lymph Nodes. Aborted tonsilectomy 07/09. Chemo port 07/09. PEG 09/09. Chemo - 3xCisplatin 6xErbitux. RTx35. Tx ended 11/09. CAT scan (clean) 01/10. PET scan (clean) 02/10. Port & PEG removed 04/10.

These pages are being updated next week since most of the April events need to be moved to the Past events section, and we have stories written about each of them, but in general, what we are putting on and what we know of other courses and events, are updated on this page when we know about them.

Hi Mike,

So sorry you missed the walk in Dallas! I try to post them on the forum before each event to let everyone know but you can always keep up to date by checking our current events site with the link Brian gave above.

We might be having one in the Houston area as well. We have a member interested in organizing one. Once it does happen, I will always post.

I just found this forum a few days ago, otherwise I would have known about and participated in the Dallas event.

There is an American Cancer Society Relay for Life event in Kaufman county this Friday. I signed up to walk as a survivor and joined a team, but now I have to travel for work and will miss that event as well.

You are having a rough time with the events!! So sorry! But I am sure there will be more to come.
