Hi everyone,
I hope this finds you all well. CNN is looking for female oc survivors to do a feature on. They are looking for people in the DC area but are willing to branch out to PA, Maryland and VA.
This could be a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness. I know Mom would have jumped on this chance! I already have Christine signed up! I know her recent strength would serve as an inspiration to many.
So how about it ladies?? any one else interested in spreading awareness on such a major news network?
Email me at [email protected]
With lots of love,

Amy

What about your mother's friend Carol in Baltimore. I don't remember her signonhandle and she hasn't been on the forum for a while. I'm in NJ and I'm certain you can find someone closer than me.

Take care,
Eileen

Her username is Carol L, I believe.

April 2006: Husband dx by dentist with leukoplakia on tongue. Oral surgeon's biopsy 4/28/06: Moderate dysplasia; pathology report warned of possible "skip effect." ENT's excisional biopsy (got it all) 5/31/06: SCC in situ/small bit superficially invasive. Early detection saves lives.

Sounds like a job for SandySt in Fairfax Va. She breezed through her treatments like a champion and certainly sounds personable enough on her posts for CNN
