Just wanted to share my optimism and also say that you sometimes have to be persistent in getting things done.

After exiting Moffitt in a blaze of glory last week, I've been feeling guilty about delaying any treatment for my mother. We have been discussing options. Since she really does not want to travel far, we agreed to try the University of Florida. I called the consultation line on Friday, but wasn't really satisfied with what I was hearing. So, I sent them a request via Internet AND also sent the doctor an e-mail. One of the few things I can say for Florida, physician info is available on the internet.

Well, we got a call today and will be going tomorrow for a consultation. YIPEE! I am amazed at the quick response and hope this says something about the doctor and facility.

So remember, where there's a will, there's a way! Be persistent.

Cynthia
