As of the end of last week, I'm half way done with Rads and 2/3rds with Chemo. They took 7 hours to push the Cisplatin and did three days of IV fluids and anti-nausea. Still not peachy keen but miles better than last time.

As for the throat, solid foods are a thing of the past. Soups and smoothies and (Yuck) carnation instant breakfast. Biggest issue lately is the super thick muscus and trying to clear out my throat and tongue in the morning.

Hang in there Mark, you are well and truly on your way to the finish line. My partner Steve is just under a week past the end of 7 weeks treatment. It's hard and some days are tougher than anything we've ever faced before but you get through it. He was lucky enough to not get any mouth soreness until week 7 and his neck got pretty red but is healing well. I think the sore neck appeared week 5 and the doc's gave us silverzine cream which works well. Steve hated chemo the most but luckily we faced the last one of that last wednesday. I'll be thinking of you, keep going and before you know it, it will be over and you can mend.
