Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 2,671 | 1) How do I shorten a long url when I've looked up something from OCF's search box so that I can refer a poster to it? It was mentioned on this forum some time ago but I lost it.  2) Also I've noticed that others in referring posters to additional info on OCF instead of posting the url will simply have a named link that goes to the info. How do I do that? 3) Thank You!

PET Scans 6/2011 + 3/2012 clear, 5 year physical exam clear; chest CT's clear of cancer. On thyroid pills. Life is good.

It's a cool trick since otherwise the long long long URLs make the OCF post super wide and you'd have to move the scroll bar on the botton left and right to read it Just go to Shorten long URLs . It's free to join and easy to follow the instructions. Charm
