Just had to share this : they brought in the bottle to start an IV tube tonite at Midnight called: "Varibar Nectar". sounds yummy right: except that it is the trademarked name of a barium sulfate suspension made in Canada. The radiolgist wants to be sure he gets the PEG in perfectly tomorrow morning

Best of luck tomorrow with the PEG tube. Its something that is necessary even if it is hard to accept. I never wanted one and almost didnt get it. Even with having the peg tube, I still lost 65 pounds. It helped me greatly as well as many others on here. Its the psychological part of it that makes it difficult. At least that was my problem with it. You will be sore for a day or two, but it really will be ok. Hang in there.
