Well, I will go through my simulation at noon and will find out my schedule. They explained everything to me beforehand...But to be honest, I don't remember much. I have to admit the side affects of the treatment really worry me. I healed up nicely after surgery so they pushed the radiation Txs up a whole week...I suppose that's good.

Geez...I sit here and think...sh@!...How did this happen and why...There has to be a reason...The Big Casino is no joke...

Ray,

Is someone going with you to your appointments, particularly when you see the docs for assessments, or the nurses for nutritional advise, etc. You need an extra set of ears so that someone does hear what they say.

Deb,

Yes, I do have someone with me 90% or better at all appointments. It does help...I tend to get lockjaw and don't think of any questions until I leave the office. And I do have rides to the facility. I'll drive myself unless I can't...and if that happens I have family, friends and the American Cancer Society on standby.

Battle in progress...moving forward and looking for a win!

OH good, I just know that having someone with you helps so much. You should be fine driving for a while and since you aren't getting chemo, you might just be OK all the way through. But, so good that you have a backup plan in place.

Good luck...take one day at a time and soon, you will be walking out from that last treatment!

Battle on, Deb
