I have blockages in both carotid arteries but the worst one is on the left side where I will be receiving radiation. I read some info on carotid artery blowouts from radiation. My question is if anyone here had a similar problem and if anyone knows if the carotid artery should be repaired prior to radiation or does it even have anything to do with the radiation? I will ask my Dr.'s asap but just thought I'd ask here first. Thank you, Angel
