My brothers tongue is now bleading. He had surgery on 6/24 has anyone else's tongue blead? Is this part of the healing process?

Bleeding could be part of the healing process, but someone should call his doctor.

Call the doctor and get it checked out. Its only been a couple days since the surgery. Doctors always have someone on call for things like this. Dont wait until Monday, get it checked.

My mom called my uncle who is a primary doctor and he said that it's the healing process. I have put a call in to our ENT doctor and will know more. Did anyone here gargle with salt and water after their surgery? My uncle said he should not do that.
