Jhonny Lion,

I'm sorry for your level of worry but I have to ask you if you've been to the doctor with these concerns. Before you worry about how bad treatment can be, you need to confirm it's even relevant. Does this make sense?

I'm not sure who prescribed the antidepressants but please consider speaking to them as well. If your anxiety level is high, maybe your medication needs to be addressed. I, personally, don't think at your age you should let things go from a sore to fear of a disfiguring surgery. There are many steps between the two and you need to pursue these sores with medical professionals as soon as you can.

I don't think it is cancer but I'm not a medical doctor. If it is, just another reason to get to a doctor soon.

Hang in there, young man. I'm certainly hoping it's nothing. Please let us know what your doctor says.
Thank you and I don't take antidepressant sir

I would speak with my parents if I was you and get that under control first. The rest will play out over time but this won't just fix itself. If you find out you have cancer, depression and anxiety will ramp up like nothing you've experienced. P
Stay off the Internet and don't look at diseases until you've seen the doctor.
This could be a million things but it will actually only be yes or no for cancer.
Okay thanks I will do that
It could be anything. Hopefully its nothing serious. Glad to hear you are seeing the doc soon. Please confide in your parents everything you have expressed here. Im sure they will be able to help you. At a young age, you should work on trying to get the anxiety under control. Your parents should be able to help get you to a therapist, maybe even meds for a while.

Good luck!!!
Thank you cristine
Hello im 16 and recently I found little orange bumps on the back of my throat painless also I have a sorta wart looking thing in my left tonsil im going to the doctor tomorrow im really scared I can't sleep I have so many questions does it sound like oral cancer will I die how do chemo and redation feel like will I be disfigured or have a permanent damage im really scared im only 16 I don't if im strong enough if I do turn out with oral cancer because I know no women will want to marry me if im disfigured if I don't die I will live a bad life and im only 16 I never had a family and I really wanted one im really scared all I can do is pray and hope its nothing
Relax!!! You are getting way ahead of yourself!!! Too many what if's.

As recommended previously, talk everything you have discussed here over with your parents. They are who will get you into see a doctor. Its extremely rare for a 16 year old to have oral cancer. Lets hope this is nothing serious. Until you know for certain, stay very busy doing positive things, it will help pass the time.

Thank you Christine im happy to say im cancer free
Im so glad!!!

Now please make the very most of your life. At your age, you can be anything you want and accomplish so many things. You can change the world (if you want to).

I'm glad, too!

If you have to read anything while you think a problem is brewing in your body, read about health anxiety. May doctors used to call it hypochondria but for the person going through it, things are very real. Younger people that don't get this addressed can get older with a lot of unnecessary worry.

Start a regular exercise program and work on a good diet. You will be fine. Now go out and tackle the world. Your kindness and compassion you've shown all of us was really sweet, by the way!
Thanks yea u guys are really nice people who don't deserve what happened you would be surprised I dont look like the nice type im 5,10 and box im also Mexican I look nothing like the sweet type but I am people miss judge for my face features and my sport
Niceness comes from the heart, not the outward appearance. I'd love to see any videos of your fights if you have any. At 16 and your size, I wouldn't be surprised to see you when you're famous!
I have ametures fights I hope to one day make it my whole family is into boxing I would bring so much pride to my father but family if I would make it but its really hard thank you tho for you kind words
