Hello I have orange bumps on the back of my throat my doctor said it was just a infection but I've had it for 3 weeks now im have not taken any medicine or any antibiotics my throat looks the same from 3 weeks ago my doctor saw me 5 days ago cauld she be wrong im worried again
Okay - but to heal an infection you need to TAKE meds and/or antibiotics. If you don't the problem will persist.
Oooh I thought since it was a throat infection it would last likr 7 to 10 days and I have had this for a month without medicine
Uh... no an infection generally requires medication to clear up. NO meds. No get better. go see your dr. ask for medication if he thinks its an infection.
Yea she said she was going to give me something but I guess her assistant forgot to send the note for the medicine thank you u just gave me hope of being cancer free
Call ask for your prescription I would say the chances are very slim that you have cancer. Take your medication and see what happens. Ideally they will take a sample of swab of the area and see what's up.

You probably have an inflamed throat related to the infection.

Hello I've been putting up some posts of me fearing having throat cancer im going to the doctor in 2 days on Wednesday because I've had little bumps on my throat about a month now and thier painless I went 3 weeks ago and my doctor said it was just a infection and she was going to give me medicine but when we went to the pharmacy they said it was not sent im really scared my whole life is getting worse and worse my best friend died he committed suicide the girl I loved has a boyfriend now and to make it worse i have depression now this in my throat I don't understand why me I try my best to be a good person I help people who need help I never made fun of anyone with a disability I've been the best person I could be I dont want to go through all those treatment for cancer I don't want to breath through a stoma or have surgiries performed im only 16 i don't drink or smoke I just want a normal life I don't want to be rich or have power I just wanted a family I would love to imagine how my kids and my family would look like and now all that might be ruined i don't want to die my friend who killed himself left a suicide note and he wrote about me how he wanted me to be happy I miss him he was my only real friend if I got sick he was the only one to visit I dont even have him no more all I havr is my mom and dad im really scared I don't want to suffer ot make my parents spend all that money I just want my life to be normal I want my friend back i just want to have a normal life I just want peace of mind I don't my throat to have those bumps I have never heard of a painless throat infection that lasts more than a month? Please I need someone to talk u guys always make me feel better
I was diagnosed with throat cancer on 8/14 and relate to the feelings you are having right now. However, I suggest you try to calm yourself down and not get too stressed out until you know for sure one way or the other. Mine came on very quick. I had a growth on my tonsils that was impacting swallowing. The ENT I went to said it appeared benign, but two days after they removed it, I got the call. I have been on a whirlwind tour of Dr.'s since. The first oncologist surgeon I went to wanted to do more surgery the same week. I wasn't comfortable with that and went for a second opinion. He said no surgery but I would need radiation and chemo and then we would decide on surgery. It has been a month now and I have seen so many Dr.'s, had scans and the radiation will most likely start next Monday. I'm stressed and nervous but have been told that my type of cancer has a high rate of success. Don't know what type of Dr. you are seeing on Wed. but I'm guessing it is an ENT and I would insist on a biopsy and a PET CT on the front-end to determine what is going on. If it does happen to be cancer, you need to find a good Oncologist. Not going to lie to you; if you happen to have cancer, it will be a roller coaster and I haven't even started the REAL treatment. However, I am determined to get this stuff out of my system and willing to do whatever has to be done to make it so. Best advice is to have your parents arrange to be seen by an ENT who specializes in oral cancer. If you have already done that and are not satisfied try another one.

My doctor checked my throat she said she saw nothing abnormal she was not a ent but she is a good doctor thanks for your support and advice im really thankful?
