My mom is seeing an Otolaryngologist for her cancer. I have heard others talk about ENTS, cancer centers, and others. We're looking for 2nd opinion--should we see different type of doc?

The acronyms are confusing at first, but an Otolaryngologist is exactly the same as an ENT. ENT is the common name for an Otolaryngologist (and easier to spell) and it stands for Ear, Nose and Throat doctor.
