The mail just came with my MRI report. It's just "post surgical and post radiation changes" (ah radiation, the gift that keeps on giving) and no disturbing phrases like [quote]possible malignancy or metastasis cannot be ruled out[/quote] like the first year's MRIs and Petscans . Lots of technical verbiage I looked up on Google that seems okay but I will double check with my doctor on Tuesday. YES - big relief

Thanks Donna, Maria & Kathy. Today is the three year anniversary of when I went under the knife for my salvage surgery that ended eating and drinking, so it's sort of a bittersweet day. But I am celebrating: wine down the tube and a little "California cheer" (it's either OG Kush or Mr. Nice - the labels fell off in transit). [Shout out to EricS]
I practice what I preach, i.e. we can THRIVE not only survive even if the cancer does come back. As one of my T-shirts reads:

I cant believe its been 3 years since your recurrence. How time flies! Happy anniversary my friend! Congrats on the check up scan. You really are an excellent example of what can be overcome when facing adversity. All too often people take things for granted. You really are able to get out there and live life to its fullest even with a few limitations. Have a glass for me, you earned it!!!!
