Well, I'm not officially in recurrence but after having some pain for a month or so, I went to my ENT today who said there is a spot on my right tonsil that is also swollen.
Biopsy is scheduled for a week from Wednesday.
Try to keep a positive mindset. I had a swollen mark near where my tonsils used to be, and my surgeon was watching in on a 2 week basis when lo and behold it healed on its own. Nothing since then, and clear CT. So do try not to worry and we will pray for it to be just a throat minor injury. Keep us posted.

Agreed - your so far out - hopefully it's nothing! I know thinking recurrence is a knee jerk reaction to anything abnormal but hopefully it's unjustified! Hugs and prayers to you!
Thank you for your prayers. Biopsy negative. ENG diagnosing tonsillitis and gave antibiotics.
Mark, congrats on the great news!!!! Sometimes that darn scar tissue can put such a scare into us. So happy that it turned out to be nothing serious.
