Have been out of head & neck radiation now for 1 1/2 months. I have been getting blisters in my mouth. Has anyone has this problem?

Thanks Kyle

I've been out three months.

Still get small blisters on roof of mouth after eating. They are less and less every day. 1.5 months out I was still using the hydracodone before meals.

I use Percs daily at least twice and I have been out for a long while. I tossed morphine and 2 more thay gave me in Oct. Xanax helps a little. The blisters make the mind wonder too many things.

Yeah, the blisters do tend to persist. They'll gradually go away, and then they won't bother you anymore. Hang in there!

The blisters, especially alongside the tongue took the longest time to go away. The rule is one month of recovery for each week of treatment - you're just at the turning point. Patience.
It WILL get better.

I'm going for 2 years and still get blisters, I think it's from eatting two salty or soury....since my taste buds are still a little messed up..
