I'm four weeks out from radiation and my biggest problem seems to be an ongoing queasiness. It's worst when I get up in the morning but then many days it never really goes away. I'm on a feeding tube and the various doctors have been urging me to wean myself but it's hard to convince oneself to push through the swallowing challenges when it doesn't even feel good when it hits the stomach. I'm having somewhat similar problems with the tube formula so I don't think it's the fact that it's food itself. I've looked around on the message board for others with this problem but haven't come up with much (probably because most people have worse things to deal with). Is this typical and I should just suck it up or is this something I should review with somebody professional?

Thanks.

I had a "sick" stomach for about one month to 6 weeks post radiation but mine was from the nasty mucous. Are you still having problems with the thick mucous that radiation creates? I would talk to your doctor about it just so he/she can try to make you more comfortable. Also, don't rush the eating, it will come in time.
