Hi all,

Any chemists out there?

Has anyone heard of this, a plant from Australia, the Maroon Bush, "Scaveola spinescens"?
A link: http://www.csu.edu.au/faculty/health/biomed/MHR/maroon.htm

An Aboriginal with tongue cancer apparently cured himself, read the article.

I don't understand all of the components, but it was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Western Australia. She has a few friends with cancer, one with lung who is still living quite a few years on. All of them are "enjoying a good quality of life", to use her words. Apparently the tea tastes foul, and she is posting me a sample of the bush (I am in Sydney).

Could be rather interesting, and maybe I'll grow some.

Any knowledge would be appreciated.

Cheers!
