Well you know you make me want to shout...

just 2 yrs ago i finished chemo/rad and couldn't talk for 6 weeks because it caused bleeding. slowly the cords came back and speeh returned. then about a month ago, i got excited about something and shouted.. what a suprise, so i continued for a bit just to see how it would go... well it went just fine.

since then, no shouting, but you know...
sometimes i want to sing,
Well you know you make me want to shout...

i think shouting can be considered an adjunct therapy... be sure to consult your doc first.

cu,
larryb ... i can't hear you...

Hi Larry B.

You are two years post therapy, how does it feel?
Sounds pretty good to me. How often do you go for check ups?, Do you ever stop thinking about cancer? Dan

hey Dan,

Two years is great and still getting better...

i get check up each 3 months with ENT & Chemo doc. Rad doc sees me every 12 months... scope each time... MRI has been changed from 6 months to 9 months.. chest X-ray at 12 months intervals... so the time spans are slowly increasing for different stuff.

my attitude is that it ain't cancer till a doc identifies it as cancer.... i keep a mind frame that it ain't coming back. so although i do think and chat about cancer, it doesn't stress me... that is, i'm not going to waste this goodtime worring about what might be.

i should eat more vegies and fruit.

you keep going and enjoy life,
cu,
larryb

Hey Larry B.
Such great news! And to age me, that is one of my favorite songs to dance to! Keep shouting...I like your attitude about the future and cancer...it's hard for me not to worry but I will try and take that advice. We definitely do live more in each moment than before.
Praise God for your health!!
Debbie :p
