BTW...Would it be acceptable to take orders for shirts from my FB friends? I'd like to buy some for my family. But, so many people became aware of oral cancer through my posts about J. Some of them might want to help by buying a t-shirt.

...and about the shirts...
Can they be re-screened to attribute the slogan to MD Anderson...Would it be legally acceptable? Would it be worth the expense? Then, they wouldn't have to be discounted/destroyed/given away. I've screen printed shirts before. If we get a screen made, some ink and some volunteers together...it would be very inexpensive and quick to do.

I'd think that MD Anderson would love the free publicity.

Can't reinvent the deal, we have been 90 days into it this far, and it has been struck to allow our wrist bands to survive. If I was going to add another screen to the existing shirts, it would likely say something in a wording that I couldn't post here about the mothers of the SOB's that work in their legal department that brought all this up after a decade of mutual cooperation. Places where the sun doesn't shine might be mentioned as well�.

OK so this morning I was thinking of slogans...and now at work all day and brain dead! Gotta think about it again. And no Eric don't even cheat by going for any of your stash either! Even though folks who do that do come up sometimes with pretty good stuff and than other times just silly but THEY think it's good! (at the time)

I think it is still good to keep this going but just want to go back to Brian�s original post and emphasize the SHORT....it needs to be visible on the wristband without turning it 360 degrees.

In the spirit of "one look is worth a thousand words" - How about a picture of a great big screw with the words "Oral Cancer" underneath. That should get attention. No naughty words used in that.

It's the best place to be for the latest information on Oral Cancer and for the most knowledgeable, compassionate help from people who have been where you are. I really like your suggestion for a slogan: "Conquer Oral Cancer". I'd like to see the word "Conquer" in BIG letters that people can see from a distance and attract attention. It has the power of a picture of a big screw (that I suggested) but in a more socially acceptable language.
