Not only dry but my glasses don't seem to work as well. I guess like everything, it all takes time.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.

Jim, my vision is crap unless I use my eye drops. Dry eyes are more than irritated, it does influence your ability to focus well. Over the counter moisturizing drops (NOT vasoconstrictors like Visine) are something that should help you out, especially when you first wake up in the AM, and sporadically during the day. I use an Equate (WalMart brand) copy of Refresh Plus - singe application vials that you can just keep a few of in your pocket.

Jim, Brian -- Funny you guys should both mention the focus thing. I have noticed over the past couple of months that my ability to focus was not as good. Thought it was bad trifocals, but I just got new ones! Let me try the drops and see what happens.

I use the same as you do Brian. Jeff, I bet it helps to use drops.

I too have burning around my eyes sometimes and also itching on my neck and and lower part of jaw on both sides which comes and goes. I just assumed it was from the radiation as I never had this problem before radiation. I sometimes worry that new cancer sells are growing and causing my symptoms, but my Doctors assure me that itching which comes and goes is not a symptom of cancer. This disease makes people crazy!
