I would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter and many more. I wish this wasn't a unique Cancer so I could spend it with my family and friends. Eat and enjoy my friends. But most of all enjoy your family.

Jim,

I don't post often, but read a lot. I have been keeping up with your unfolding story. My goodness you have been through so much. Although I haven't been through quite what you have, I was in the early recovery stage during Thanksgiving and Christmas again major eating holidays. It is the pits when you can't eat, but be around your family if you can. They won't care that you can't eat they just want to spend time with you. I hope you are feeling better each day and even if you can't feel it you are getting better each day. Progress can be slow, but once it starts getting better and you can tell, then you will see a big difference.
Wishing you and everyone on OCF a blessed Easter.

Cindy

Happy Easter Jim. I'm not sure if your post meant you wouldn't be able to be with your family... If not - I'm sorry about that. Hopefully you'll get lots of calls and videos of the kids hunting eggs. Maybe they'll put them on Youtube for you! Not sure if you're religious or not, but my brother always says that the Bible is a great cure for loneliness. He has a particular job that requires he miss most holidays from family - like in another state. Anyway - didn't mean for this to get so long. I think of you often and pray for you daily.

Happy Easter!!

I guess I stated that wrong. Soory. I spent most of the day with my daughter and hers kids after they drove an hour so that we could go to church together. We had a fantastic day and want to thank everyone for their best wishes. They ate LOL I just wished.

Hi Jim,
Great to hear you had a great Easter with family. Sorry that you are not able to eat yet...what about a little melted chocolate?
Had a nice seafood lunch out with my parents (79 and 80)yesterday and am taking it easy today enjoying the lovely weather sitting on my balcony enjoying the view and reading today.
Take care

I wish I could eat some chocolate , melted or not. LOL Right now anything but Carnation VHC and Lipton Green Tea would be like a feast . You have my sympathy for having to sit on your balcony in that nice sumshine and warm weather. LOL J/K but sure am jealous.
